With over 25 years of creative experience and nearly 15 years of business ownership, Sommer Jacob, Studio North's owner, understands the needs of small business and their struggles. Unlike large-scale advertising corporations that tend to overlook things or small independent specialists that don't have the bandwidth of a full-service creative agency, she prides herself in creating a local agency that's "just right!"
Sommer is a design junkie at heart. A brand consultant, who is highly regarded for her ability to create visual brands for entrepreneurs that not only work to increase profits but that they also love.
Founded in 2012, Studio North was created out of her passion for helping other entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and succeed by putting their best look forward.
Sommer enjoys working with other business owners so much that she is even a volunteer mentor for new business owners looking for advice, through her local SCORE Chapter. Learn more about SCORE here.
Studio North keeps its costs down by collaborating with creative individuals across the country, to help in specialized areas of the creative process. They're all trusted, dedicated professionals which whom she has developed ongoing working relationships to create the best possible deliverable.
When you grow up, assisting here and there, you can hardly help but fall into the family business. Kennedy Jacob started her journey with Studio North in middle school, assisting with administrative tasks while her mom, Sommer, juggled running two businesses.
Recently, Kennedy decided to take the next step and earned her certification in Social Media Marketing. She's part-time with Studio North currently but intends to continue her education while gaining experience to eventually become a full-time partner with the creative agency.
